Haute Mess Life

Welcome, fellow Haute Messes!

Thanks so much for dropping by! I am happy you’ve found us and hope you’ll become part of Haute Mess Life for a long time to come!

Women have so many roles and so many passions! Haute Mess Life is a place to share resources and advice on many of the different things women care about— from self-care, to fitness and healthy living, to things that make our daily lives easier, to parenting and relationships. I want this to be a place where we can learn from each other as we share real life, real experiences, and build real community.

Why Haute Mess Life?

Well, the answer is pretty simple– it seems like women are often categorized as either having it all together or being train wrecks, but I believe the truth is that most of us actually live somewhere in between. We are both fierce and fretful, haute and hurried, masterful and messy. If you can identify with that, this is the place for you!

If you’ve ever felt like a million bucks in a killer outfit, only to look down several hours into your day and find a Thomas The Tank Engine sticker on your skirt, this is the place for you! If you’ve scoured the internet looking for a moisturizer that compares to that expensive one that “mom guilt” kept you from buying, this is the place for you! If you’ve ever attempted a DYI project that failed so badly it could win the internet, this is the place for you! If you’ve ever figured out an ingenious, Pinterest-worthy hack, this is the place for you! If you’ve ever felt like both the worst and best friend/parent/spouse within a 3 hour period, this is the place for you! If you feel stretched so thin by life’s demands that you have forgotten it’s ok to take care of yourself, this is the place for you! If you are looking for a community of other women who are trying to balance it all, this is the place for you!

I hope you’ll join us as we celebrate our equal parts fashionista and wreck sides, have real conversations about the struggle to “do it all and have it all” without losing ourselves in the process, have a few laughs (sometimes at my expense), and find comfort in discovering you’re not alone!

XOXO,

Jackie Hauer
